Engineering Classification for Sunrim Retractable Structures

To ensure optimal structural integrity and performance, Sunrim Retractable Systems are engineered based on site-specific environmental data, including wind velocity, seismic activity, and snow load requirements.

The structural framing is categorized into four distinct tiers based on the clear span distance:

  • Standard Series (Up to 6.5m): Optimized for residential and small-scale commercial applications, utilizing a compact profile designed for agility and streamlined aesthetics.
  • Performance Series (6.5m – 9m): A mid-range structural configuration engineered with reinforced extrusions to maintain rigidity over extended spans.
  • Heavy-Duty Series (9m – 16m): Specifically designed for large-scale architectural projects, featuring high-tensile aluminum alloys (such as 6061-T6) and increased wall thickness to counteract deflection.
  • Ultra-Span Series (16m – 25m): An industrial-grade structural solution utilizing custom-engineered truss systems or oversized profiles to ensure stability and operational safety across massive open areas.

Technical Specification Summary

Note: Final structural selection is subject to a comprehensive Structural Calculation Report tailored to the local building codes and specific environmental conditions of the project site.

We help you with the dedication & affection

We pay close attention to the grout lines, cleaning and restoring them to their original color and condition, giving the entire surface a refreshed look.
We meticulously test and balance the water chemistry during each service visit. This involves adjusting pH, alkalinity, and chlorine levels to maintain a safe and comfortable swimming environment.
